Complete Childcare Nurseries are looking for a reliable and practical Maintenance Operative to join our well established Facilities Team to support the upkeep of our nursery settings across the group.
This is a varied and hands-on role where you will help ensure our nurseries remain safe, well maintained and welcoming environments for children, staff and families.
Working closely with the Head Of Facilities , you will support a number of nursery sites, carrying out general maintenance tasks and helping to maintain high health and safety standards across the group.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out day-to-day maintenance and minor repairs across multiple nursery sites
Respond to maintenance requests and prioritise urgent issues
Assist with compliance checks, including fire safety, health & safety and equipment inspections
Support external contractors while they are working on site
Help maintain safe, clean and secure environments across all settings
Keep accurate records of work completed and report any issues to the Facilities Manager
Assist with site set-ups, room changes, moves and small installation projects
Essential Requirements
Full UK driving licence
Practical DIY or maintenance skills, with previous experience desirable
Reliable, punctual and organised
Friendly, approachable and professional manner
Motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
