Complete Childcare Nurseries are looking for a reliable and practical Maintenance Operative to join our well established Facilities Team to support the upkeep of our nursery settings across the group.

This is a varied and hands-on role where you will help ensure our nurseries remain safe, well maintained and welcoming environments for children, staff and families.

Working closely with the Head Of Facilities , you will support a number of nursery sites, carrying out general maintenance tasks and helping to maintain high health and safety standards across the group.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day maintenance and minor repairs across multiple nursery sites

• Respond to maintenance requests and prioritise urgent issues

• Assist with compliance checks, including fire safety, health & safety and equipment inspections

• Support external contractors while they are working on site

• Help maintain safe, clean and secure environments across all settings

• Keep accurate records of work completed and report any issues to the Facilities Manager

• Assist with site set-ups, room changes, moves and small installation projects

Essential Requirements

• Full UK driving licence

• Practical DIY or maintenance skills, with previous experience desirable

• Reliable, punctual and organised

• Friendly, approachable and professional manner

• Motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
