We are looking for an experienced Painter to join our friendly and dedicated maintenance team, supporting our group of 17 nurseries and pre-schools across Berkshire and the surrounding areas.

Your main role and responsibilities will be to:

• Carry out all aspects of internal and external painting and decorating across multiple nursery locations.
• Prepare surfaces including filling, sanding, priming, and undercoating.
• Apply paint finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
• Hang wallpaper and apply wall coverings where required.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
• Complete jobs assigned weekly by your line manager and adapt to last-minute changes when required.
• Communicate effectively with nursery teams and management.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in domestic or commercial painting and decorating.
• Full UK driving licence (company van may be provided).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to manage time effectively and adapt to changing priorities.
• Professional, friendly attitude suitable for a childcare environment.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
